Congratulations to TBS Bike Parts rider Tom van Steenbergen for winning the best trick competition at the Wam Bam Dirt Jump Jam in Fernie on July 21. Although there were many difficult tricks being thrown down, Tom's clean double backflip earned him the win.
TBS Bike Parts has enhanced its product line by adding the 2013 Easton Havoc 35 carbon handlebars to its offerings. With the growing demand for increasingly wider bars, Easton decided to go all-out and introduce the 800mm-wide Havoc that offers increased stability, more control and less fatigue than narrower bars. The Havoc can be cut to a custom width thanks to the built-in cut guides and weighs in at a very reasonable 300 grams.
TBS Bike Parts loves to support our local bike community; what better way to do it than build a new mountain bike trail? We have been working hard over the last few weeks to create the ultimate singletrack trail that features some massive stunts as well as a crisp technical downhill section. The trail is located in one of the extensive mountain bike areas surrounding Kelowna, BC. More details will be released closer to the finishing date. Stay tuned for updates, pictures and a video of the finished trail being test riden. Can you guess where it is?
