The steep and exposed lines in the Virgin, Utah desert aren't the only place where you can find lines that qualify as “no fall zones”. Have a look at Bartek Szceki shredding a steep line in the French Alps and coming close to clipping his bars a few times but pulling it off.
This GoPro chest-cam video of the Portal Trail in Moab, Utah shows just how steep and treacherous this trails is. Portal is an expert trail, running along the narrow ridge that parallels the Colorado River. Some parts of this section are so steep that riders are required to get off and walk their bikes. After you get past the narrow and steep section, the trail opens up and is full of rock drops, boulders and tight switchbacks.
